Hong Kong-traded casino stocks will get a jump on U.S.-traded names on Monday, with the trade news out of Argentina also expected by analysts to be supportive of a rally.
Macau gross gaming revenue jumped 8.5% in November to 25.0B patacas in a mark that outpaces the growth seen in September and October, according to data from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau.
The consensus estimate from analysts was for Macau gross gaming revenue growth of ~5%. Although the year-over-year comparison was strong, Macau revenue tailed off from the 27.3B patacas brought in during October.
YTD Macau gross gaming revenue is up 13.7% to 276.4B patacas and the gambing region has generated 28 consecutive months of revenue growth.
